Brisbane Comedy Festival Volunteer Opportunity from 23 April to 25 May 2025
Comic musings, side-splitting stories and tear-inducing tales… The Brisbane Comedy Festival returns in 2025, bursting at the seams with a hand-picked selection of the funniest folk in the country! To help deliver some of the most hilarious local, national and international comedians to Brisbane Powerhouse, we’re looking for an exceptional team of volunteers to join us from 23rd April – 25th May 2025. Volunteering with us is a fantastic way for anyone interested in the arts/events to get involved with a flexible, rewarding, short-term commitment. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to see Brisbane Comedy Festival shows!
Where We Need Your Help:
- Welcoming patrons and providing them with information about the festival.
- Roaming the precinct and assisting with patron queries
- Assisting operational staff across the precinct
You will be working as a part of the Front of House / Precinct team as the face of Brisbane Comedy Festival, welcoming thousands of patrons to Brisbane Powerhouse, Princess Theatre, and The Tivoli and providing crucial assistance to staff behind the scenes.
